Microsoft releases Windows Embedded Automotive 7

All the fancy new technology embedded in the bowels of the last harvest day cars and trucks need a little magic serious software to work properly, and Microsoft is a leading provider of bits and bytes in automobile. Car manufacturers such as Fiat, Ford, Kia and Nissan are all derived using software giant's Redmond-based technology. Automotive Embedded Windows 7 introduces new technologies such as Silverlight, which allows improvements 2D and 3D graphics, voice technology and Tellme, which allows real-time technology text-to-speech and the ability to respond to text messages using a voice command. Another interesting information officially released by Microsoft today is that the 2011 Nissan Leaf tactile information center (above) is, in fact, powered by Windows Embedded automotive technology. Drivers will get a navigation system along a load power station locator, a monitor of energy and climate monitoring in the car.
